ARLINGTON — A Stanwood residents and Arlington chiropractor recently received two awards from the Washington State Chiropractic Association.

Dr. Shawn Gay of Arlington Family Chiropractic was honored with the association’s Volunteer Award and Distinguished Service Award during its spring conference at Skamania Lodge in Stevenson, Wash. on April 17.

Gay received the awards after serving for seven years on the association’s Board. During that time, he also served as president of the Board in 2008.

Gay received the association’s Outstanding Service Award and President’s Gavel award in 2009.

Gay also serves on the Arlington-Smokey Point Chamber of Commerce and Chiropractic Knights of the Round Table.

He’s practiced chiropractic care for 12 years.
