Sex offender arrested for voyeurism

ARLINGTON – Police arrested a registered sex offender on suspicion of voyeurism Sunday, Sept. 21.

ARLINGTON – Police arrested a registered sex offender on suspicion of voyeurism Sunday, Sept. 21.

While investigating a suspicious vehicle call, officers were told by a nearby resident that his daughter had just told him that a man was looking into her window at 1:30 a.m. The man ran off when the daughter looked at him.

The description of the man matched the photo of the registered owner of the suspicious vehicle. Police went to the 19900 block of 106th Ave. NE near Arlington where the suspect was taken into custody.

The suspect, 51, was booked into the Snohomish County Jail on one count of voyeurism. He is a level 3 sex offender with a previous voyeurism conviction.

The incident happened in the 19900 block of 67th Ave. NE. The suspicious vehicle was parked in a private driveway and pulled away when police arrived.
