Steve Donald Lindberg was born Oct. 20, 1948, in Mt. Vernon, Wash.

He died suddenly at his home in Lakewood, Wash., Sept. 8, 2008.

He is survived by his parents, Peter and Sally Lindberg; brother, Scott and wife Janna; sister, Sue Ann Perry of Marysville, Wash.; nieces Carrie Gross and husband Dan; Stacey Showlund; Adrian Perry; Megan Gross; Zoey Phillips; and nephews Brock Lindberg and Connor Gross.

A time of remembrance will be held at the Pioneer Hall in Arlington on Sept. 27, 2008, at 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the VFW or American Legion in Arlington or the charity of your choice.
