Joseph “Bruce” Niclai born to Raymond “Bus” Niclai and Mary Doyle Niclai on May 9, 1944 in Devils Lake, ND went to his final rest on November 3, 2010 in Tacoma, WA. The family moved from Devils Lake to Everett in 1952 with Bruce attending school and graduating from Marysville in 1962, Bruce joined the Army Reserves right after graduation.

Bruce is survived by his wife and best friend of 24 years Barbara and their furkid Allie Mae; sisters Marylu Smith and husband Gary of Lacey; Betty Johnson and husband Hank of Monroe, WA; Tresa Lenard of Claremont, CA; sons Matt and wife Brandy of Anchorage, AK and their 2 sons; Ryan Niclai of Anchorage, AK; Gary Thomas and wife Jeri of Prosser, WA and their 4 daughters; daughters Kristal Baker and husband Ken of Manchester, WA; Traci Giordano and husband Michael of Brooklyn, NY. He also leaves numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who love him dearly.

At Bruce’s request there will be no services. The family will prepare a tribute of his life to be mailed to family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held June 10, 2011 in eastern Washington.
