After Snohomish County officials reported that Frontier Communications was having issues with 911 service in parts of Snohomish County, that service appears to have been restored, although officials are not taking any chances.

According to Kurt Mills, executive Director of SNOPAC 9-1-1, the system is being tested “trunk by trunk, and line by line” to verify that regular service has indeed resumed.

“It’s premature to say that all our systems are running normally again, so we’re validating that with the phone company,” Mills said.

If you are reporting an emergency in Snohomish County and are unable to reach a 911 operator, dial 425-407-3970.
