ARLINGTON — The Arlington boys tennis team has started the season 0-2, losing to Lake Stevens 6-1 Sept. 8 and Meadowdale 5-2 Sept. 9.
Arlington’s Connor Ghirardo won in straight sets in singles in the match against Lake Stevens.
Arlington’s Jesse Vaughan and Rawley Davis were the singles match winners in the contest against Meadowdale.
Arlington will host Snohomish Thursday, Sept. 11, at 3:30 p.m.
Two local athletes were named All State recently in boys basketball, and another in girls basketball.

Marysville-Pilchuck had eight athletes selected to winter-season Wesco 3A North all-league teams, while Arlington had six and Marysville Getchell four.
