Arlington beats up Lynnwood on the tennis courts

ARLINGTON – The Arlington boys tennis team continued its winning ways with a 7-0 romp over Lynnwood Sept. 7.

The Eagles completely dominated, winning 84 games in the seven matches, compared with 15 for the home team.

In the singles matches, senior Conner Fochesato won 6-2, 6-3 at No. 1 singles; sophomore Taras McCurdie 6-0, 6-1; freshman Vincent Loftis 6-1, 6-3; and senior Dominic Palmisano also won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 4 singles.

For doubles, seniors Will Eckley and Dean Shepherd won 6-0, 6-1; junior Ben Spores and sophomore Ben Nichols blanked their foes 6-0, 6-0; and at No. 3 doubles seniors Burch Walker and Johnathon Leon-Guerrero were victorious 6-1, 6-2.
