Arlington police searching for suspect after armed robbery

Police are looking for a man who allegedly robbed a local loan store on Thursday, Oct. 1.

ARLINGTON — Police are looking for a man who allegedly robbed a local loan store on Thursday, Oct. 1.

Authorities said employees of Loans 4 You, located at the 3400 block of 172nd Street NE, told responding officers that a man entered the store, displayed a handgun and demanded all of the store’s cash.

The employees complied with the demand and the suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, said Kristin Banfield, city of Arlington spokesperson.

Police officers brought in a canine to search the area but were unable to locate the suspect, who is described as a white male wearing a navy blue hooded jacket, sunglasses and a white dust mask.
