Gordon (G.G.) Santeford was born August 7, 1941 to Anton and Irene (Kroeze) Santeford in Arlington, Washington. He passed at home in Sun City West, Arizona at the age of 77.
Gordon is survived by his beloved wife, Trudy, of 37 years; sons, Vince (Katie) (Arlington, WA) and Dustin (Manitowoc, WI); daughters, Randi (Bob) (Scottsdale, AZ), Jessa (Seattle, WA) and Lacey (Glendale, AZ); grandsons, Corbin and Hudsyn; and brother, Tom (Kelly) (Camano Island, WA).
Gordon’s pitching accomplishments were featured in the local papers prior to graduating in 1959 from Arlington High School and continued playing
baseball for Everett Junior College.
He soon found his calling in the grocery business, purchasing Farrell’s Grocery in Everett. Throughout his career he managed several Thrifty Foods locations before retiring and eventually relocating to Arizona.
Many memories of Gordon include outdoor hobbies. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, horses, traveling and restoring classic cars.
A reception is tentatively scheduled for August in the Arlington area. All are welcome to attend and celebrate G.G.’s Life.
