It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, Cynthia Mathews (nee Moser) on April 10, 2019 in Marysville, WA, at the age of 71.

Mom grew up in South Seattle, the youngest of three children, and attended Rainier Beach High School and Yakima Junior College. After college, she became employed with Boeing and shortly after moved to Phoenix, AZ, with her first husband and gave birth to their first daughter. Two years later, to Saskatoon,

SK, Canada where her second daughter was born. In 2002, Mom married Jerry Mathews and relocated to the Arlington, WA, area. They were members of Arlington Free Methodist church and was actively involved in women’s ministry.

She is survived by her daughters, Kersten and Neysa (David), her grandchildren, Cash, Sierra and Jett; Jerry’s children, grandchildren and great grandchildren; her sisters, Suzanne Jackson and Lynda (Jack) McMahon, and numerous nephews, cousins and friends. She is predeceased by her husband, Jerry (in 2017), and her parents, Sid and Pauline Moser.

Memorial service will take place in Saskatoon, SK, at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Weller Funeral Home.
