LAKEWOOD – Vincent Loftis placed third to lead the Arlington boys to a second-place finish at the Wesco 3A Championships at Lakewood High School Saturday.

Jackson won the boys event with 61, with the Eagles at 77. MG was 18th and M-P 22nd. Loftis had a time of 16 minutes, 1.9 seconds. Teammates Chance Pearston was 13th, sophomores Aiden Emerson 16th and Brandon Moore 22nd, Ryan Barene 23rd and Isaiah Lowery 25th. Quincy Fankhauser placed 28th. MG’s top finisher was Oliver Schwab at 101st. M-P’s was Carson Serge at 157.
