ARLINGTON — The Arlington Garden Club hopes to help area horticulturists with “Trouble Spots in the Garden.”

The club’s March 14 meeting will offer tips on how to kill Morning Glory Roots, as well as how to respond to moss and unproductive Iris. Drainage field planting will be among the other topics discussed by certified professional horticulturist Michelle Clark, which were determined in advance by feedback solicited from club members.

The club welcomes visitors to attend starting at 11:30 a.m. at the Gleneagle Family Restaurant, located at 7619 E. Country Club Dr. in Arlington. A salad buffet lunch with beverages and dessert will begin at 11:45 a.m. and costs $13, but attendees are not required to buy lunch to sit in on the meeting. A meal of soup, rolls, beverages and dessert is also available for $7. Clark’s speaking program begins at 12:15 p.m., followed by the club’s business meeting at 1:15 p.m.
