Glenn Rengen
Glenn Rengen’s life was filled with honesty and integrity; his love of the outdoors, family and friends will forever be remembered. Glenn was born and raised in Arlington, Wash., where he lived out his life with long-time partner, and love of his life, Penny.
Glenn is proceeded in death by his mother, Diane.
He is survived by his father, Forrest; fiancée, Penny; daughters, Kari (Ben) and Jill (Seth); brothers, Wayne (Sharon), Brad, Vern and Calvin (Michelle); nieces and nephews, Christina, Nathan, Jordan and Jacob; grandchildren, Natasha and Wyatt. Glenn also leaves behind many other friends and family members that he dearly loved.
Glenn began his career working alongside his father for Mowat Brothers Construction, where he quickly became a superintendent running his own jobs. Eighteen years later, Glenn and two of his brothers, Vern and Brad, began their own construction business, R Excavating. After 25 years of hard work, Glenn owned and operated three businesses that he enjoyed immensely; Pacific Road and Bridge, East Valley Sand and Gravel and Penny Lee Trucking.
Together with Penny, Glenn owned a beautiful 200 acre cattle ranch and enjoyed his time with the tranquility of farm life in Cicero, Wash.
He and Penny loved to relax by bird hunting, fishing and taking his classic cars to town for a Sunday drive.
Glenn had many friends and many hobbies. He loved hunting with his “Joegees” hunting pals, taking fishing trips to Alaska, watching and sponsoring sprint car racing, playing golf and bringing home classic cars.
Glenn has touched many people with his kindness, generosity and laughter; please help us celebrate his life. Memorial services were held Thursday, Aug. 21, 2008, at Northshore Christian Church, Everett, Wash., at 11 a.m. Interment services were held Friday, Aug. 22, 2008, at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park in Everett at 2 p.m.
Legacy gift donations, in Glenn’s memory, can be made to the organization of your choice. Glen was an active supporter of the local 4-H and FAA organizations.

Glenn: My love, my dad, my son, my brother, my grandpa, my uncle, my friend, we forever love you. A day will not pass without us thinking of you and missing you. We hope you have found peace at last. We find comfort in the fact that you will be watching over us from above.
