ARLINGTON — A well-known radio talk show host, Mike Siegel, will speak at the Arlington-Smokey Point Chamber of Commerce luncheon meeting at noon Tuesday, Feb. 10 at the Medallion Hotel (formerly the Hawthorn Inn) in Smokey Point.

An authority on media and communications, Siegel has the knowledge and expertise to provide businesses and consumers with information about streamlining its communications.

He has a PhD in rhetoric and communication theory from the University of Utah. His dissertation focused on the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict. In 1978 he moved from academics and the world of intellectual theory to actual practice and joined WOTW radio in Nashua, New Hampshire as president and general manager. He then went on to pass the Bar in Massachusetts, New York, Florida and the District of Columbia and practiced law for a couple of years until his passion for radio called him back. It was during the late 1980s that he made a real name for himself in talk radio hosting prime time slots in Boston, New York, Miami and Seattle. By 2000 Mike was invited to host popular, nationally syndicated radio program coast-to-coast after filling in for Art Bell. He has made numerous appearances on a variety of television talk programs including Oprah, The O’Reilly Factor, Politically Incorrect, Geraldo, Fox News Sunday and more, and now he is coming to Arlington.
