SMOKEY POINT — Affordable Dental Care of Smokey Point is looking to introduce itself to the community by showing some support for one of its most vulnerable members.
Arlington’s Lacey Ernst is a 5-year-old girl in need of a heart transplant, and from noon to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, the Cumulus Park parking lot at 16404 Smokey Point Blvd. will serve as the site for Affordable Dental Care’s official grand opening and fundraiser for Lacey, complete with free barbecue ribs and chicken, potato salad and coleslaw, a limited supply of cookies, and even a bouncy house, pony rides and more.
Arlington Mayor Barbara Tolbert will conduct a ribbon-cutting at 12:30 p.m., while multiple vendors are slated to be on site to help promote other area businesses, at a fee of $50 each.
“This event is for Lacey Ernst, the community and every business in Arlington,” said Dr. Jason Bressler at Affordable Dental Care. “We are thrilled to be here and grateful to be part of this growing community. We want this to be a great event for the entire family.”
Bressler’s concern with the community extends to his patients, for whom his practice is named, since he’s made it a goal that otherwise expensive dental treatments be affordable for everyone.
“We pride ourselves on being able to provide the highest quality dental care at the most competitive prices possible,” Bressler said. “We perform all aspects of dentistry at our office, from crowns and fillings to root canals, dental implants and taking out wisdom teeth. Our office is equipped with the latest technology, and I spend countless hours getting trained in the most recent methods and techniques. We are a preferred provider for every dental insurance, so insured patients get lower prices from the start.”
Affordable Dental Care also provides reduced rates for non-insured patients, and even offers web specials for non-insured patients each month. Their current specials include $49 for new patient exams and x-rays, $500 for crowns, $600 for root canals, and $1,995 for an implant and crown.
“We will never turn a patient away because they can’t afford treatment,” Bressler said. “We will always work with that patient and make it possible for them to get the treatment they need.”
At Affordable Dental Care’s grand opening on July 27, they’ll have new patient coupons at their business booth.
“For every patient that schedules an appointment during the month of August and presents the coupon at their appointment, we will donate $50 to Lacey’s fund,” Bressler said.
