ARLINGTON — After a long and arduous construction period, Whidbey Island Bank opened its newest branch in Smokey Point last week, with Patty MacDonald in charge as branch manager and assistant vice Ppresident.

The full-service branch will also be occupied by Dan Kuenzi, region manager for commercial banking in the Snohomish County region and Camano Island, who is moving his team to the new branch.

The CEO and president of Whidbey Island Bank, Jack Wagner, said he is pleased about the new branch opening.

“Now we can offer our customers additional financial services in the Smokey Point area. Customers have access to a full line of personal and commercial business banking services at the new branch, including safe deposit boxes, ATM, drop boxes and drive-through facilities.

Grand opening festivities will be announced shortly.

The Smokey Point Branch is located at 4220 172nd St. NE in Arlington.

The bank will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturdays. Drive-up banking is available from 8:30 a.m. and the same hours on Saturday.
