Arlington Easter egg hunt set for April 23

ARLINGTON — Community members again are being encouraged to bring their Easter baskets, cameras and smiles to the city of Arlington's upcoming Easter egg hunt. The event starts at 11 a.m. on April 23 at the Arlington Municipal Airport, next to Weston High School. Parking will be available in a grass field near the intersection of 172nd Street NE and 51st Avenue NE.

ARLINGTON — Community members again are being encouraged to bring their Easter baskets, cameras and smiles to the city of Arlington’s upcoming Easter egg hunt.

The event starts at 11 a.m. on April 23 at the Arlington Municipal Airport, next to Weston High School.

Prizes will be offered in various age categories for children from ages 1-12. The Easter Bunny will also be on hand for photos during the event.

Last year, hundreds of families took part in the egg hunt, which happens behind the Stillaguamish Athletic Club.

Organizers and volunteers are providing close to 10,000 eggs for the different age groups of children to find.

Parking will be available in a grass field near the intersection of 172nd Street NE and 51st Avenue NE.

The hunt is sponsored by the city of Arlington and Cascade Valley Hospital, with Youth Dynamics volunteering and the Arlington United Church serving hot chocolate and cookies.
