MARYSVILLE – Adults and children see the world in many different ways.
One happens to involve snow.
While many adults lament it because of how dangerous it makes the roads and how it disrupts work and other schedules, children celebrate a “Snow Day” off from school.
They especially enjoy it if there happens to be some hills nearby.
One very popular place in Marysville is Jennings Park. Hundreds of kids, teens and even adults went there Monday for sledding, inner tubing, snowboarding, discing and anything else they could find to slide down the slippery slopes.
At least one young man was seen sliding down just on his rear-end.
Another family had a large remote-control vehicle spinning around the park, kicking up snow everywhere. A man said earlier that vehicle had pulled around some kids on sleds.
Palmer the dog did the same thing for Cashden, 2, who was there with Mandi Wolfe and Sean.
Zoey Leslie, 5, also had a blast with her family, raising her arms out like Superwoman gliding down a slope on her sled.
Families also could be seen walking their dogs and having snowball fights.
