MARYSVILLE – Tobin Randall was the overall winner of the Marysville Strawberry Festival Talent Show this year. The 16-year-old homeschooled student played guitar and performed his original song, “You’re My Girl.”
As always, a crowd favorite was a young dance team. The Broadway Babies placed first in dance/singing for ages 3-5. Grace Raegan, Zoe Martinez, Adriana Montemayor and Mila Dixon performed the jazz dance. Placing second was McKinnley Rae Myers, 5, of Arlington, who sang the old song Cyndi Lauper song “True Colors.” In dancing ages 6-7, Vivian Palmer, pictured at right, took first with a lyrical dance to “With Love,” while the “Word Up” jazz dance group, pictured above, placed second with all 6-year-old dancers from Marysville and Arlington. That team included: Parker Distefano, Grace McShane, Hailey Nelson, Violeta Aparicio and Kelsey Lewis.
