ARLINGTON — Arlington High School seniors Sara Deeter, Robert Kephart, Jessie Rard and Molly Rard have been named Commended Students in the 2012 National Merit Scholarship Competition.
Approximately 34,000 Commended Students throughout the nation are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise. Commended Students are in the top 5 percent of more than 1.5 million students who entered the 2012 competition by taking the 2010 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.
“Arlington High School is proud to honor four students this year for such a prestigious and highly competitive national program,” AHS Principal Brian Beckley said. “We wish them success in their academic pursuits.”
