Arlington boys wrestling takes nine and three alternates to state (slide show)

ARLINGTON — Arlington advances nine wrestlers and three alternates to the state tournament at the Tacoma Dome Feb. 20 and 21. The eight wrestlers are first-place regional winners Jeremy Nygard and Cooper Mcauslan; second placer Trey Swanson; third-placers Danny Herrera, Gavin Rork, Clayton Hunter, and Ruben Crew; fourth-placers Christian Evanger and Colton Ferro; and fifth-placers Will Rush, Parker Spadey and AJ Crew, who are alternates.

ARLINGTON — Arlington advances nine wrestlers and three alternates to the state tournament at the Tacoma Dome Feb. 20 and 21.

The eight wrestlers are first-place regional winners Jeremy Nygard and Cooper Mcauslan; second placer Trey Swanson; third-placers Danny Herrera, Gavin Rork, Clayton Hunter, and Ruben Crew; fourth-placers Christian Evanger and Colton Ferro; and fifth-placers Will Rush, Parker Spadey and AJ Crew, who are alternates.

MARYSVILLE — The Arlington boys wrestling team placed first out of the 15 schools at the 3A regional tournament with a score of 180 points Feb. 14. Marysville-Pilchuck placed fifth with a score of 94.5.
