ARLINGTON – The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a couple who has been missing for a few days.

The couple lives at 27809 Whitman Road, east of Arlington near Oso.

Patrick Michael Shunn, 45, and his wife Monique Patenaude, 46, have been missing since Monday afternoon, their neighbors say.

The incident was reported to the sheriff’s office at 2:45 p.m. Tuesday.

Shunn was last seen at his workplace in Kirkland April 11, but did not report for work the next day. Patenaude was last seen around 1 p.m. April 11 near the couple’s residence.

The disappearance is considered suspicious because it is unusual for them not to be in contact with family, friends or work.

Detectives with the Major Crimes Unit are also looking for one or both of the couple’s vehicles: a tan 2000 Landrover Discovery (Washington plates AR02639) and a black 1995 Jeep (Washington plates WB02789).

Anyone with information about this investigation should call the sheriff’s office anonymous tipline at 425-388-3845.
