Looking at the All-Wesco 3A North all-star teams, it is easy to see why Arlington won state in wrestling and is favored to finish in the top four at state in girls basketball.
Eight Eagle wrestlers were picked No. 1 in the league in their respective weight classes. Four girls from Arlington also made the first team.
For the Eagle girls basketball squad, three of the first team starters are from Arlington, along with three more on the second team and two more made honorable mention.
In boys basketball, Arlington had five players honored, Marysville-Pilchuck four and Marysville Getchell three.
In swimming, MG had five swimmers on the first team.
