SEATTLE — A decade was added to an Arlington man’s prison sentence after he pleaded guilty in federal court to distributing child pornography.

Christopher Doggett was caught with more than 600 images of child pornography in 2010. Investigators also found images of him molesting a young child, according to the U.S Attorney’s Office. Doggett was prosecuted in 2011 in Snohomish County Superior Court for distributing child pornography and sentenced to 7½ years in prison. Federal prosecutors took up the allegations that Doggett produced child pornography when he recorded himself molesting the child.

As part of an agreement, Doggett, 35, pleaded guilty to possession and distribution of child pornography. He was sentenced Sept. 9 in U.S. District Court in Seattle to just over 10 years in prison. He must also serve the remaining five years he has on his 2011 conviction in Snohomish County. Doggett also was convicted in 2003 of distributing child pornography.
