Arlington Police Blotter 07/25/12

A 2-year-old boy was standing in front of a pickup and the driver could not see him. The left tire struck the boy. He sustained head, arm and chest injuries. None of the injuries was life threatening.

June 4, 2012

5:08 p.m. SHOPLIFTING: A 22-year-old male shoplifted vodka from a grocery store. He was located and arrested.

5:19 p.m. BURGLARY: A male was issued a criminal citation for trespassing on property he was knowingly evicted from.

7:16 p.m. WARRANT: A male who was breaking windows also had a warrant. He was taken to jail.

11:18 p.m. DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: A male had come home intoxicated and started to yell at his girlfriend. The police were called. The male had left the apartment by the time police arrived. They spotted him at a nearby grocery store and spoke to him and he agreed to find somewhere else to stay the night.

4:26 a.m. WARRANT: A husband came home intoxicated and vandalized his whole house. Police were called and he had an outstanding warrant so he was given a trip to jail.

June 7, 2012

8:08 a.m. BURGLARY: Police took a report of an attempted burglary upon pick-n-pull auto parts.

9:24 a.m. FRAUD: A victim received a bill in the mail from a collection agency for a cable bill from another state. The victim had never lived in that state.

10:28 a.m. PROPERTY: A bag containing various paperwork was found and turned into the police station. A checkbook was returned to the owner.

10:35 a.m. SUBSTANCE: A juvenile female was caught with drug paraphernalia at the high school.

5:05 p.m. THEFT: A 26-year-old male was arrested for shoplifting and found to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest.

10:01 p.m. BURGLARY: Police responded to a burglary in progress at a towing yard. A male had cut the fence and entered a vehicle. He has been charged with 2nd degree burglary.

10:36 p.m. PROWL: The ignition on a motorcycle was punched in for an attempted theft.

June 8, 2012

8:20 a.m. VEHICLE PROWL: A vehicle was broken into and a GPS, radar detector and keys were stolen.

9:33 a.m. MEDICAL INVOLUNTARY: A female drove onto a grass yard and was found to be disoriented and in and out of consciousness. She had been up for five days using meth. She was taken involuntarily to Cascade Valley Hospital.

12:26 p.m. THEFT: A student stole a cell phone then lied to the police officer about it. Charges of theft and making a false statement have been forwarded to the juvenile prosecutor.

1:50 p.m. ALARM: Arlington K-9 unit assisted the Tulalip Police Department at the Tulalip Marina. There was a positive hit for drugs on two vehicles and a boat.

2:07 p.m. INFORMATIONAL: An informational report was taken regarding a civil dispute involving a side-dump trailer.

3:08 p.m. THEFT: A local business’ Loss Prevention department discovered two GPS boxes opened and the GPSs were gone. Video surveillance was checked and two of the four suspects have been identified so far.

4:06 p.m. CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICE: A cab company called CPS to report a possible observed child abuse and this information was documented by law enforcement.

9:49 p.m. TRESPASS: A male and female were trespassed from a local motel for six months.

1:15 p.m. FRAUD: Arlington detectives were assigned a case referred by Adult Protective Services regarding adult children taking money from their mother.

June 12, 2012

10:45 a.m. THEFT: A case involving identity theft was referred to Arlington Police from the Brighton, Co Police Department.
