ARLINGTON — At approx. 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012, Arlington Police responded to a reported attempted kidnapping in the 18300 block of 31st Ave. NE. A 12-year-old girl reported that a man grabbed her and attempted to pull her into a wooded area.

The victim reported that she was able to get away from the assailant and fled the area. She went home and police were then called. After a K-9 track and police area search, a suspect was not found.

Police Detectives are continuing to investigate this incident.
