ARLINGTON — The Arlington girls tennis team defeated Shorecrest 4-3 April 7.

Arlington’s singles winner was Brittany DeNike 6-4, 3-6, 6-3.

Doubles winners were: Hannah Scarth and Gigi Moss 6-2, 6-0; Evie Rolston and Sierra Roach 6-0, 6-3; and Ciara Nawroeki and Jewel Martin 2-6, 6-2, 7-5.

MARYSVILLE — The Marysville Getchell softball team lost to Oak Harbor 10-4 April 7. MG is 1-6.

MARYSVILLE — The Marysville-Pilchuck and Getchell baseball teams faced off for the first time in its three-game series with M-P emerging with the win 11-5 April 7.

M-P’s Logan Sewell, Landon Riker and Trent Tingelstad hit a double each, and Cal Walker hit a triple. MG’s Austin Richbourg hit a double.

M-P and MG play their second game today 4 p.m. at M-P.

STANWOOD — The Arlington baseball team lost to Stanwood 4-2 April 7. Arlington’s record is now 3-4.

SULTAN — The Lakewood boys soccer team was shut out by Sultan 3-0 April 7. Lakewood’s record is 0-6.
