GROWING GOURMETS VISIT ITALY (Ages 4-8)

This new Mommy and Me Italian Cooking class provides unique opportunities for young chefs to express their culinary creativity and learn important cooking skills. Children are encouraged to explore their imagination while learning good nutrition and gaining a sense of pride in their tasty creations. Foods cooked: Pizza Faces, Freshly Juiced Strawberry Lemonade. Includes song and story time. Parent participation required. Each child must bring from home a medium and small bowl, a rolling pin, a spatula, a semi-blunt cutting knife and a container for leftovers.

Participants learn to recognize the signs and symptoms of injuries and sudden illness. Crucial information about how to deal with emergencies such as shock, burns, strains, strokes, and seizures is shared. Certified Instructor. Renew your existing certification or become First Aid Certified. OSHA, WISHA, L&I, and DSHS approved. For adults and youth ages 12 and older.

This course teaches the chain of survival, activation of 911, emergency response, airway obstruction and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). The class also discusses childhood injury prevention and information on adult heart attacks and strokes. AED discussion. Renew your existing certification or become CPR Certified. YOUNG LADIES AND GENTLEMEN (Ages 6-11)

Children rarely beg for the opportunity to attend a class on manners, yet it is the key to building positive friendships and strong self-esteem. This fun, hands-on workshop teaches telephone etiquette, basic table manners, introductions, personal care and posture. Each students receives a “goodie bag” to take home. Don’t be surprised when they come out asking for more!

ROYAL TEA (Ages 4-6)

Calling all princes and princesses! Learn the secrets of living like royalty as you practice kindness and respect for all those you meet. Wear your royal clothing (crown and all) and bring your favorite cup and saucer. You will practice meeting and greeting others, how to handle a napkin, eat a cookie, drink lemonade, and join in table talk. Don’t forget your royal escort (parent or adult)!

GLASS ART FOR TEENS

This Class is designed for middle school students.

Instructor will cover various types of glass art and offer practical tips for using glass to it’s fullest potential. Students will explore techniques to capture color and design, and make a suncatcher or two, learn to cut, foil and solder glass. Class size is limited– sign up today!
