Everyone is invited to our “Determing Your Best Colors,” luncheon at the Marysville Golden Corral on Thursday, May 28 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Learn what your best colors are from Mary Spillane while she color drapes a participant. A Free Breakfast is served each Wednesday from 8 – 10 a.m. at Hosanna Christian Fellowship, 401 N. Dunham, in Arlington. All are welcome. This breakfast program is provided by four community churches. Anyone wishing to help with this program should call 360-403-0995.

First Aid and CPR training
Get certified in Basic First Aid or CPR. First aid classes will cover initial assessment, EMS activation, standard precautions, burn care, bleeding, shock, sudden illness, heat/cold emergencies, dislocations and fractures as well as specific body injuries. CPR classes teach the chain of survival, activation of EMS, emergency response, understanding what CPR is, manikin practice of CPR, and choking. First Aid and CPR courses meet requirements for DSHS, WISHA, OSHA, and L&I. First Aid will be held on Wednesday, May 27 from 5:45 to 9pm and CPR will be held on Thursday, May 28 from 6-9pm both classes will be held at the Ken Baxter Senior Community Center (514 Delta Ave., Marysville). Leave the driving to pros and join Marysville Parks and Recreation for these exciting trips. All trips leave from Jennings Memorial Park (6915 Armar Rd., Marysville) at 5pm. The cost is $35 per person per game with the exception of the New York Yankees ($50) and includes motor coach transportation and a game ticket located in section 332. Games will be on the following dates: June 24th – San Diego Padres, July 9th – Texas Ranges, August 14th – New York Yankees, and September 1st – Los Angeles Angels. Babysitting basics
This instructional course is geared for youth, ages 10-14 that would like to receive babysitting certification. Offered by Campfire, but open to all. Participants will learn how to feed and diaper infants and toddlers, handle children’s bed and bath routines, set limits and handle troublesome behaviors, prevent accidents and respond to emergencies. Participants must attend both days to receive certification. Bring sack lunch or snack.
