Dinner raises funds for Viking Hall

SILVANA — Approximately 300 people recently attended a dinner and fundraiser for Viking Hall.

Organizers raised more than $6,800 to contribute to a septic system project during the event, which took place Nov. 8.

Attendees watched a live performance by country and rock singer Hannah Michelle Weeks.

“It was really neat to see just how many in the community contributed in preparation, attendance and clean-up,” Silvana Community Association President Kevin Buhr said.
