GRANITE FALLS — At 3:30 a.m. Wednesday morning, a resident of in the 11200 block of 99th Ave. NE near Arlington called 911 to report a shooting at his house, reports the Snohomish County Sheriffs Department.
The man who lives at the house with his wife and adult nephew called 911 to report that someone had fired shots at him. The man had gone outside because the light sensor in his driveway indicated someone was there. When he got outside, he saw a vehicle in his driveway. A suspect fired shots at his front door where the man was standing but he wasn’t hit.
The vehicle with three suspects inside fled.
A short time later, Granite Falls Police Department spotted the car in Granite Falls and booked all three Marysville men in their 20s into Snohomish County Jail on first-degree assault. Detectives are investigating the motive. There’s no indication the residents of the house knew the suspects, nor that it was gang related, according to the Sheriff’s office.
