MARYSVILLE — The Marysville-Pilchuck softball team defeated Arlington 8-6 March 30, improving its record 2-3. Chloe Morgan batted 3-4 hitting and scoring two runs and teammate Katie Barrett was 2-3 with a triple also adding two runs.

LAKEWOOD — Lakewood’s Hailey Malakowski pitched a no-hitter as the Cougars softball team blanked Mariner 25-0 March 30.

Lakewood is undefeated at 4-0.

EVERETT — The Marysville Getchell baseball team improved its season to 4-1 with a 9-5 win over Mariner March 30. MG’s Austin Richbourge batted 2-3 and  three RBI.

ARLINGTON — Arlington’s Seigo Hall, Aaron Paloalto and Carter Mooring scored a goal each with assists from Larry Norris and Edher Escalantar to defeat Everett 3-1 March 30.

Arlington’s record is 3-1-2.

MARYSVILLE — The Marysville-Pilchuck girls tennis team lost to Mariner 4-3 March 30. M-P’s singles winners were: Sierra Broker 6-3, 6-4; Megan Gross 6-2, 3-6 6-2; doubles were Claire Esser and Payton Perez 6-3, 6-2.

Its record is 0-5.

LAKE STEVENS — The Marysville Getchell girls tennis team lost to Lake Stevens 3-2 March 30. MG’s singles winners were: Marina Ciferri 1-6, 6-2, 6-4 and Cortni Huffman 7-6, 2-6, 7-6.

Its record is 3-2.

MARYSVILLE — The Marysville Getchell softball team lost to Everett 2-0 March 30.

MG’s record is 0-3.
