ARLINGTON — The fire and emergency medical services regionalization study results presentation has been rescheduled for Thursday, Sept. 5, starting at 5:30 p.m. in the Byrnes Performing Arts Center on the Arlington High School campus, with doors opening at 5 p.m.

The meeting was rescheduled to provide Emergency Services Consulting International additional time to review and assess supplementary information received during the study’s review process. At the meeting, Don Bivins, an associate with ESCI, will provide an overview of the study elements and findings.

The study was commissioned by the city of Arlington and six adjacent fire districts in August of last year, to furnish the policymakers in North Snohomish County with information on opportunities to provide cooperative fire and EMS to the public in the best way possible.

“We look forward to evaluating the study’s results,” Arlington Mayor Barb Tolbert said.
