ARLINGTON – We hear a lot about our schools, but you can actually get to “Know Your Schools” at a free event Thursday, Oct. 9.

Participants will get a free lunch as Superintendent Kristine McDuffy and other district leaders talk about their efforts.

Attendees then will get to tour some of the district’s schools to see how “our clear focus and staff collaboration are meeting the needs of all of our students every hour and every day,” a school district notice says.

Parents and seniors are invited to the event, which starts at 11:30 a.m. at the Byrnes Performing Arts Center lobby, 18825 Crown Ridge Blvd.
