MARYSVILLE – Interstate 5 northbound was closed for two hours and 40 minutes Wednesday after a wreck near the 136th Street overpass at 2:22 p.m.

The Washington State Patrol reported Thursday that an unidentified man in a black 2010 Audi allegedly hit the rear of a tractor-trailer rig driven by Dustin Yost, 32, of Everson. The first vehicle then veered into the center lane, where is was hit by a flatbed trailer driven by Jagpa Sidhu, 38, of Marysville. Sidhu and Yost was not injured, but the unidentified man was transported to Providence Regional Medical Center’s Colby Campus in Everett. His condition was unavailable.

Traffic was backed up for seven miles at times in both directions, also due to a crash at Marine View Drive in Everett.
