MOUNT VERNON – The Lakewood girls basketball team’s season came to an end Friday with a 59-46 loss to Shorecrest.
Lakewood fell behind 16-8 after the first quarter and could not catch up from there.
Emily and Haley Senyitko scored 14 points each in the losing effort. Jelly Perry tallied 11.
Lakewood ended the season 16-8. Shorecrest advanced in the playoffs with a 14-10 mark.
