ARLINGTON — More than three months after he went missing, Arlington Police and his loved ones are still looking for Jeremy Imrie.
Imrie, a 38-year-old white man with blonde hair, blue eyes a mustache and facial hair, left his mother’s Arlington apartment on foot at approximately 11 p.m. on May 9 and was last seen near the Lincoln Bridge, east of Arlington on State Route 530 NE. He stands 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighs 165 pounds, and was last seen wearing a black-and-white flannel hooded sweatshirt, black-and-white tennis shoes, blue jean shorts and a white-and-gray Seahawks baseball cap.
Arlington Assistant City Administrator Kristin Banfield confirmed that the Arlington Police Department’s investigation into Imrie’s disappearance is still open, and asked anyone with any information on his whereabouts to call Detective Mike Phillips at 360-403-3400. A missing person report released by the Arlington Police Department added that Imrie left his cell phone and vehicle behind, “may be depressed or potentially suicidal” and “has a history of recreational drug use.” Imrie’s case number with the Arlington Police is 13-1271.
Imrie’s girlfriend, Shelly Bryant, has set up a Facebook page at www.facebook.com/Find.JeremyImrie13.1271 to network with anyone who might have any clues about him.
“Jeremy was the kind of person who would light up a room with his warm personality and sense of humor,” Bryant said. “He was a hardworking, loyal, kindhearted man who was devoted to his loved ones. He loved his children, his family and his childhood friends dearly. He is loved by many and missed by all who know him.”
Bryant praised Imrie as an excellent provider for her and her family alike, and described both his disappearance and his lack of contact with either family or friends as entirely out of character for him.
“His mother and I support each other, and would like Jeremy to know that he is loved and will always be welcomed with open arms and joyous hearts,” Bryant said. “We miss him deeply and pray every day for his safe return.”
