The Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction commissioned a study to examine the secondary alternative education programs across Washington and out of the 242 alternative secondary schools in Washington, Weston was named in the top 10 of academic achievement.
The study explored program and instructional models utilized by the highest performing alternative schools.
Arlington Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Kristine McDuffy sees this as an honor for the district.
“This research firm is very thorough and well respected. We applaud the efforts of our students and staff and look forward to building upon this success,” McDuffy said.
