ARLINGTON – Snohomish County sheriff’s deputies arrested a 40-year-old assault suspect from Everett after a short pursuit March 23.
At about 9:30 a.m., a man in his 40s from Stanwood arrived at the sheriff’s North Precinct reporting that another man had shot at him. Deputies determined the incident occurred near 128th Street NE and 34th Avenue NE in Marysville.
Deputies broadcast suspect information, including a vehicle description, to all local police.
About 1:06 p.m., a Tulalip Tribal police officer spotted the suspect vehicle driving north on I-5 through Marysville. Deputies and a K-9 unit responded and tried to stop the vehicle. It slowed but refused to stop, but deputies finally were able to get it to pull over just north of the Smokey Point rest area.
