More incumbents file for re-election

A number of incumbents have turned in their paperwork on the second day of election filing week.

Mike Hopson will challenge Jacob Kukuk for Arlington City Council.

Tom Albright will run again for the Marysville School Board, and Kay E. Duskin will do the same for the Arlington board.

Incumbent Catherine Sandy Gotts and newcomer Jahna Smith will run for the Lakewood School Board.

In Hospital District 3, Margo Powell and Steve Patterson will try to hold their seats.

For fire district seats, Patrick Cook is running in District 12, and incumbent Dan Britton is trying to return in District 21.

For county charter review, there are five candidates each running for positions 1 and 2, seven running for position 3, eight trying for position 4 and nine vying for position 5. Three will be selected in each of those five races.
