Arlington High School suspended a student till January, then backtracked and let her back into school today amid suspicion over whether she had actually done anything wrong. Northwest Cable News has the whole convoluted story, the gist of which is, the girl was drinking peppermint-smelling coffee that another student thought smelled like peppermint Schnapps. According to NWCN’s account, the school took that report as fact and issued the suspension.
