ARLINGTON — Due to road closures and emergency conditions as a result of the massive landslide which hit Oso and State Route 530 on Saturday, March 22, the approximately 350 customers who receive home delivery in Oso may pick up their mail in Darrington, according to acting Arlington Postmaster Aaron Regis.
“Those Oso customers who have a Post Office Box at the Arlington Post Office will continue to receive their normal mail service,” Regis said. “Only those Oso customers who get mail delivered to their home mailbox will have their mail available at the Darrington Post Office.”
The Darrington Post Office is located at 715 Givens Ave. and is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., Mondays through Fridays. Customers will need to provide appropriate identification to pick up their mail.
