ARLINGTON — From Monday, Jan. 13, through Monday, Jan. 20, a section of 67th Avenue NE, between 211th Place NE and Lebanon Street, will be temporarily reduced to one lane, with alternating two-way traffic, in order to provide a safe work zone.

Crews are scheduled to conduct work in this very narrow section of the corridor to install a curb on the east side of the roadway.

Traffic controls will be in place to safely direct motorists through the construction zone, including flaggers on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and automated traffic signals in place overnight and on the weekend.

Once construction in this area is complete, this section of the roadway will be opened up to two lanes.

This schedule is subject to change due to the weather.

Work throughout the 67th Avenue Final Phase project corridor is expected to occur during typical work hours, Mondays through Fridays, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., with no night or weekend work expected.

Please stay alert and drive slowly through the construction area.
