The person suspected of firing the weapon which struck a 20-year-old Ryan C. Mumm, of Stanwood, is in custody. The shooting took place at Blue Stilly Park near Arlington the evening of July 14. Mumm died July 15 from his injuries at an Everett hospital.
The suspect is a 41-year-old male who lives in Tulalip, according to Shari Ireton, director of communications for the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office. He was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for murder in the 2nd degree, drive-by shooting and rioting.
