UDATED |Stillaguamish River listed at Flood Phase 4

The water level in the Stillaguamish River has reached 19.52 feet near Arlington at approximately 12:30p.m. Sunday and water levels were expected to continue to rise.

ARLINGTON – The water level in the Stillaguamish River reached 19.52 feet near Arlington at approximately 12:30 p.m. Sunday and water levels were expected to continue to rise.

The Stillaguamish River is now at Flood Phase 4. According to Snohomish County Surface Water Management Division, a Flood Phase 4 means all agencies respond in anticipation of major flooding and widespread damage.

Snohomish County’s Emergency Road Closure Information website shows that 7th Avenue NE in Arlington is closed from 220th Street NE to its end due to water over the roadway.

The Washington State Department of Transportation is reporting that on SR 530 at 119th Avenue NE all eastbound and westbound lanes are closed due to water over the roadway.
