Arlington — Village Community Services was awarded a full-time AmeriCorps position by the Washington State Service Corps. Village Community Services is responsible for recruiting the full-time AmeriCorps volunteer who will work as a member of the agency’s Vocational Services team. The volunteer will help market the skills and abilities of people who have disabilities to local employers. The AmeriCorps service term is 40 hours per week for 10.5 months with start dates of November 1 or November 16, 2008. The volunteer must be between the ages of 18 and 25 and able to pass a Washington State background clearance.
