SNOHOMISH COUNTY — Gusts of up to 50 miles per hour could again reach parts of the area starting Wednesday, Nov. 18.
A wind advisory will be in effect throughout the afternoon of Wednesday until early Thursday, Nov. 19.
The National Weather Service in Seattle issued the warning for parts of Snohomish County starting at 1 p.m. until 1 a.m. Thursday morning.
The strongest winds are expected to occur near Hood Canal and throughout western Snohomish County.
A wind advisory notice is issued when sustained winds of 30-39 or gusts of 45-47 miles per hour are likely, according to the service.
Officials encourage residents to be watchful of small tree branches snapping off or shallow-rooted trees being blown over.
