Arlene Joyce Raport passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007.
Joyce was born in Stockton, Calif., on June 10, 1934, and lived most recently on Camano Island, Wash.
Joyce is survived by her husband of 55 years, Richard Dick Raport; her children, Sharon Roberts, Donna Mack, Ron Raport, and Rhonda Scandrett. She also leaves behind her sister, Shirley McCulley; and grandchildren, Alexis, Lucas, John, Ashley, Jana, Benjamin and Levi.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Myrtle Hicks Ramont; father, Albert Hicks; and her grandson, Jordan Scandrett.
Joyces main interests were always focused on her family, but Joyce will also be remembered for her support of her husbands Christian School ministries, as well as their combined leadership in Conservative Christian Political causes. Joyce was also an avid artist and sports enthusiast.
The memorial service for Joyce was 1 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2007, at New Life Foursquare Church, Everett.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to Open Arms Ministries Food Bank of Camano Chapel, Focus on the Family, or the 700 Club.
