Carmen Castillo passed away on Friday Aug.20,2010. She was 79 years old. She suffered with colon cancer. She was born in Kerrville, TX on July 5,1931. She was preceded in death by her husband Fidencio Castillo who died 2-17-1985. She is survived by 9 kids, Hilda Taylor, Naomi Horton, Ruth Rooslet, Nancy Armenta, Ida Rooslet, Jim Castillo, Bill Castillo, Rudy Castillo, and Lucy Rooslet. 19 grandchildren,14 great-grandchildren. She was a faithful member of the Church of Christ. She enjoyed her grandchildren. She lived with Hilda Taylor, her second daughter in Marysville since February 2003. On April 14 she went to live at Ruth Rooslet’s house her third daughter. She enjoyed going to the library, beach, different events in the community. Including the POW-WOW, Mexican Fiesta’s, Concerts in the park. She gave to divers charities including, march of dimes, veterans, food bank, the Iglesia de Cristo in Las Vegas, NV. She lived in Yakima, WA. and worked as a room attendant for several years. She was a faithful wife. A loving mother. She will be buried at Evergreen Funeral Home in Everett and a private memorial was already performed by her son-in-law Rick Taylor. Anyone wishing to see it. Watch it on youtube
