Karen Elizabeth Rice, 61, passed away suddenly on July 24, 2007 in Everett, Wash.
Born April 22, 1946, in Everett. Karen was a graduate of Marysville-Pilchuck High School in 1964, and spent most of her life in Marysville and the surrounding area.
Karen enjoyed life and all of what life had to offer.
She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, shopping at Michaels and on QVC, crafting, music and traveling. The wife who was always there to teach you something about yourself, the mom that always cheered you on and was proud of all that you had accomplished, the grandma with the sparkly eyes and the ever-generous smile, the friend to offer advice and a shoulder to cry on Thats what she was.
Karen is survived by her husband, Jeff Rice; her daughter, Deanne Larsen; her son, Kenny Larsen (Tracy); granddaughters, Kylie and Lily and grandson, Zachary; son-in-law, Scott Rice (Angie); grandsons, Tristan and Logan; daughter-in-law, Stephanie Yutzie (Chuck); grandsons, Terrell and Garrett; sister, Sandra Menke; and nieces, Sharon Borgman and Brenda Prouty; as well as many other family and friends.
All were welcome to come celebrate Karens life and spirit. A celebration of her life was held at 1:30 p.m., on Saturday, July 28, 2007, at Christ the King Lutheran Church, Snohomish, Wash.
